Aging is a big factor entire in the life and in the society people have been facing several problems either personal or common

On October 1, International Day for the Elderly is celebrated every year and this holiday was first celebrated on October 1, 1991.

The holiday is celebrated by raising awareness of issues affecting the elderly. It is a day to appreciate the contributions of the elderly to the community.

The holiday coincides with National Grandparents Day in the United States and Canada, as well as the double ninth in China and the honor of aging day in Japan.

This practice is the focus of aging organizations and the United Nations Program on Aging. In this year of 2019 the theme is Journey to Age Equality

How people celebrate the International Day of the Elderly (Day of Older Persons). International Elderly Day is celebrated to create awareness and empathy for the well-being of the elderly.

People usually spend the day with their grandparents, visiting the elderly homes and N.G.O. Some children even give greeting cards to their elderly today.
